My name is Christina, my husband & my step son are needing a places to live. As of now we are livin with a friend. The problem is, that the guy that we are currently staying with. Is moving to a smaller home w/ his daughter, he can no longer afford the house we are stayin at. So to get to the point, as of May, we have to move out & we DO NOT have a place to go or live. Niether one of us have any income, exsept foodstamps. Neither one of us is able too work. Right now I'm trying to get Disability. I'm just waitting for another 'Hearing". I filed in "06"! My husband is fixin too sign up for "Disability' as well. He's waiting for the internet cable to get fixed, to apply on line.. I'm sure yaw are going to be unable to help us. We have been trying to get Hud & Section 8. And no luck. We have went every where we were told to go to get help. And as useal we have had "NO LUCK AT ALL" just bad luck. I'm stressing out, I have server health problems. So there for we make no moneys, we don't stand a chance on making it. I got a feeling that we are goin to live on the streets with our son. I'm not tryin to get any type of a pitty party. I just wanted someone there to know what we have been dealing with over 7-8 years & nothing. & I refuse to live in a place like GateWay. We have lived their before & I got robber, my son got jumped by 5 boys, my husband got robbed & stabbed. Also we have send a lot of drug dealing in them apartments as our son did too. There were shootings, stabbings & people getting killed. I DO NOT want to raise my son or anyones kids in them type of enviroments. Its really sad, because them places are over ran by drug dealers & violents. No parent in there right mind would want to raise there children in those enviroment. I apologize for rambling on. I'm about to freak out about my family & I having our own home. Sorry for wasting yaws times. God, Bless Rev. Christina Glosser

I came to this town in october 2012, and was fortunate to have found out about CAM, I first met Kathy E., a social worker at Cam, who helped me tremendously, she obtained crucial documents so that I could get identification, also I stayed in the "Bill Hudson Project" at Cam, which was like a home to me. I paticipated in homeless awareness week, and signed up people for christmas. Both events were great. I also met Mr,Mrs Darrin Bogue,who invited me to attend there church-CalveryBaptist Church in which Iam a member now. I feel that Jesus brought me to this town. Reverand Ruth Lawson helped me get into the best apartment I've ever lived in. Ruth Lawson is a very outstanding lady. Im still working on getting my life back together, but with the folks at Cam and my faith in Jesus it will come together. Gerald
