Twenty-first Century Scholars is an Indiana statewide program which enrolls income-eligible students during middle school to help them be able to obtain a college education. Students pledge to remain in and graduate from an Indiana high school with a minimum cumulative GPA set by the state. They also pledge to remain good citizens by being drug and crime free. Meeting this pledge gives them the opportunity to receive tuition assistance in the form of a grant to attend an approved Indiana postsecondary school. Parents and students may complete an online enrollment form at www.scholars.in.gov or click on the attached "Apply Online" button to see current income guidelines and to apply online. A paper enrollment form and additional information is available from the Kokomo Regional Support Office by calling 455-9572 or toll free outside Kokomo at 1-800-213-0165. Enrollment for current 8th graders ends June 30, 2011
