The Drop In Center

The Drop In Center is a day shelter for the homeless and near homeless. We see over one thousand people a year. There is a home like atmosphere as one walks into the Center. The Lobby has comfortable chairs and a TV. A volunteer greets people and answers the phone.

Bill Hudson Project

The Project consist of 6 Beds available to single men for $5 a night. There is a live-in night supervisor. The BHP opened March 2007 and 52 men were housed in the first year.

Besides Beds there is a common living room, dining room, kitchen and storage room.

The Family Hope Center

This is one of a few Family Emergency Shelters in Indiana. The goal is to keep Families together during a time of desperate vulnerability.

Representative Payee Program

CAM Inc. is Representative Payee for about 60 households. In working with many of our Clients, we found that keeping them housed meant administering their SSI/SSD/Paychecks. In these cases, the Social Security Administration requires a Payee. Many of these Clients voluntarily choose our assistance over their finances.
